Peekaboo Cupcake Box

Thinking about the GBBO final, I thought I'd do some all-occasion food packaging. These cupcake-sized boxes have a heart-shaped cello window, so you can see the yummy contents (sorry - no goodies to hand - too busy crafting - that's up to you).

Here are your free print-and-cut files:

Making the boxes is a cinch. Cut out the base and lid units. Score and crease the folds (I use a fine-point embossing tool held against a small metal ruler). Use the template to cut out a hexagon from clear cellophane (you can get this online - it is used by florists). Use double-sided tape to fix the cellophane behind the window. You only need to stick it down around the perimeter of the heart. Assemble the box base: join side tab to make a ring, then join bottom tabs to base.
Finally, attach the back tab of lid to top of a box side.

The boxes make great party favours. You don't have to fill them with a cupcake - chocs or biscuits are also welcome treats.
