Valentine Gift Box

Here's a folk art-style Valentine gift box with a swirl-close top. Just big enough for sweet treats. There's a gift tag, too.

Valentine Gift Box

1 Print template onto photocopier card.

2 Score the fold lines with a fine-point embossing tool held against a small
metal ruler. The notches and the colours are your scoring and folding guides.
It is a hexagonal box.

3 Fold the creases; use a bone folder to set them.

4 Glue the join to make a ring.

5 Glue the base onto the bottom tabs.

6 To close the box, pinch the pink top tabs togethe, fold them down, and swirl them consecutively, tucking the last one under.
