Valentine Accordion Basket

Here's a pretty little heart-shaped basket for sweet treats. The v-shaped accordion pleats give it a bellows look. The baske is open, but you can tie
the handle shut with a ribbon.

The trickiest part of making the basket is folding the accordion V-shape. To make things easy for you, the pleated section is colour-coded. Score the lengthwise pleats, then crease them both directions. Score the zig-zag lines in the centre, then pre-crease them. Practice folding the V-shaped accordion. When you get to the centre, pop the fold in the opposite direction.

To assemble the basket, use d/s tape to attach the hearts to the front and back of the V - then add the handle at top.
